At the height of the Vietnam war, American soldiers had such difficulty with Vietnamese that they suffered a troubling number of casualties. The Vietnamese were so unscrupulous. They became so unethical in their use of force that they recruited not only young men of fighting age but older men, women of all ages and yes, even children. Warfare became so intense that everyone was considered a potential adversary. It was to this end that some military leaders gave orders for the soldiers to Kill Anything That Moves. Not that innocent civilians would be included, but to bring an awareness that anyone; including old men, women, children, anyone in civilian clothing was a potential danger to the American Soldier.
2 Corinthians 10:5-6 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
Modern Christianity has become so complacent to the works of the devil. The typical believer seems to be content with some amount of sin. This is a grave mistake!
What does it mean to have a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled? It means that we constantly view everything through scope of scripture. We place into our crosshairs and squeeze the trigger on every work of the devil; every evil thought; every wicked imagination; every thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. That’s right! Everything!
We must become aware of the destructiveness of the devil’s weaponry. It’s more than just a single act of sin that isn’t good for you. Soldier, sin will kill you! Sin will destroy your Christian life!
James 1:16-17 When lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin. And sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err my beloved brethren.
Understand that if it’s from the devil, it will harm you. You don’t play around with the devil without getting harmed. Jesus revealed of Satan that “the thief cometh not but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” John 10:10. Let there be no doubt, if Satan is in your presence, his intention is to rob you, take your life, or destroy something that is valuable to you. This understanding should give you pause concerning all things in this life.
We have a tendency to let things slip by us because we’ve determined they aren’t harmful enough to address. However, these discreet and seemingly harmless things can add up to major pains. This is why Jesus confronted Satan head on each time he (Satan) reared his ugly head. “Get Behind Me Satan” was Jesus’ response. Jesus resisted the devil and his works at every turn. Jesus even said the following:
John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
In other words, the devil had not managed to get one inch of ground or influence in Jesus’ life. Jesus was untouched, uncompromised and unpenetrated by the great deceiver of the ages.
Just because it looks harmless or menial, doesn’t mean it can’t harm you or those around you. Eve looked at the fruit on the tree as harmless but Satan knew what he was doing all along. In this modern spiritual warfare, Satan intends to wound you in every opportunity. He uses land mines that you can’t see. He disguises himself and his intentions with some people in the church. He can labor with you in the gospel. Jesus knew what Satan was up to when Judas joined with the disciples.
John 13:18 He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
Soldier, once you see the danger of all things Satan fires at you, you will Kill Anything That Moves! Why should we adopt this warfare strategy? Because anything and everything the devil has in his armory will weaken you, wound you and devastate you. However, we do not engage in friendly fire! We do not harm the person Satan is using, but we must have a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. Once your desire to be all that you can be is deeply rooted in your heart, then you’ll destroy everything that resembles evil in your own life and also in the lives of others. You’ll seek to kill anything in the minds of those you love because those things will deceive and destroy your loved ones. It’s wartime! You’re on the battlefield now! If you do not kill it, it will kill you! If thoughts enter your mind that go against the word of God, Kill it! If certain cares of this life distract or draw you away from the spirit, Kill it! You’ll abstain the very appearance of evil. Why? Because the most innocent untruth is still a lie. The smoothest sleight of hand is still deceitful. The most harmless looking shadow is still darkness. Once you settle this in your heart to kill anything of the devil that moves, then your victory in this spiritual warfare will be seen and known instantly.
1 John {3:8} He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

THERE IS A VERSE OF SCRIPTURE FOR EVERY WORK OF THE DEVIL AS THERE IS A BULLET FOR EVERY ENEMY SOLDIER. FIRE AT WILL!
Anything evil in your mind must be placed in your crosshairs. Kill it!
Anything evil that seeks to come out of your mouth. Kill it!
Anything evil that seeks to be brought about in your life. Kill it!
Anything evil that is holding your loved ones. Kill it!
Anything lies that keep your loved ones enslaved. Kill it! Kill anything evil
