INTO THE KILL ZONE – MESSAGE TO THE FORCE

INTO THE KILL ZONE

4 August 2026

Chaos, difficulty, trouble, calamity, danger, destruction, violence; all these words are used to describe things that we don’t welcome in our life.  As a matter of fact, the overwhelming majority of the world avoids them.

When it comes to spiritual warfare though, these words take on a completely different meaning.  It means the armies of darkness are at work in someone’s life.  Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy.  Someone in your family; a friend or a loved one, is in serious danger.

I think one of the worst things we could ever do as believers is leave a person to fight alone in their battles.  The modern believer is so preoccupied; or should I say too distracted by the pleasures of this world, to get involved with helping someone spiritually.  Since many believers are so tangled up in the affairs of this life, they have disqualified themselves from spiritual warfare fighting.

2 Timothy 2:2 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

As God’s Soldiers, we are called to fight.  We fight our nation’s battles.  That’s what we do!  That’s who we are!  Your willingness to fight for someone rests in your love for your country and your service to God to fight.

I also believe the church has become so weak in character that our weakness has led to us not getting involved in helping people, or else leaving them to fight alone.  We live in the most offended generations today.  If someone speaks a slight word against a person, that person is ready to write them off forever.  Why is the world so easily offended?  Are we so weak in our own walk with God that we can’t handle any form of opposition?  Is this the reason why we avoid anything and everything difficult?  You can’t get offended by the words anybody speaks to you.  The modern Christian soldier must conquer this weakness if they are going to be a soldier for God.

Psalm 27:1-4 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?  The LORD is he strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?  When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.  Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

In order for you to march violently toward chaos and into the kill zone, you must know Jesus intimately.  Contrary to what many people say or think, it is knowing God; knowing WHO God is; His Character changes the entire battle.  If you don’t know the victory you have been given by the Lord, then you will walk continually with a sense of fear.  We’ll fear a harm to ourselves.  We will fear the enemy or what he is capable of doing to us.

This epic spiritual war we fight is the most intense battle ever to be engaged in.  How then can a soldier in God’s army run to the sounds of chaos?  How can we deliberately place ourselves in the kill zone?

The answer is actually quite simple; first of all you have to love people.  Any soldier defends his country because he loves his country.  He loves its people.  As a Christian, you have a genuine love for humanity regardless of whether they love you back.  It’s who you are!

Another motivation for marching into the kill zone is confidence!  With the weapons of our warfare, God’s Army is capable of battling long term on this battlefield without suffering the first injury.  Our armour and weaponry is that tight!

Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of Faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

The consequences are eternal.  If a person dies lost, they don’t just cease to exist, they fall into the fires of Hell.  This is why we must fight.  My disgust for what Satan is doing to this world drives God’s Army to war!

The sounds of destruction and chaos are my call to join.  Chaos attracts the soldier.  The attraction is so that we put out the sounds of chaos wherever we go.

You engage the chaos in order to stop the chaos.

Ephesians 6:15 And having your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.

God’s soldiers are not affected by the growls of Satan.  We aren’t moved by the powers of darkness.

When you know the weapons and armor of this spiritual warfare will protect you completely and that you have no fear of getting wounded or even slightly injured in the battle, then it causes you to have no fear.  You are then capable of running toward the chaos, into the kill zone.

Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things?  If God be for us, who can be against us?

Your ammunition for today: ARMOR UP AND YOU WON’T BE WOUNDED!

God has outfitted His army with the most powerful, most effective uniform.  When you, the soldier, put it on, you can stand against all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you.  There’s no fear with this battle apparel. After you are outfitted, you march into the battlefield and even in the kill zone with confidence.  There’s no scenario where we lose in the battles of this spiritual warfare.  Go rescue your lost loved ones.  They are in the danger zone!  They are in the kill zone!  You have to enter that same kill zone in order to rescue them.  Don’t worry about the gunfire, bombs and explosives of the devil.  You will not be harmed if you keep your armour on.
