STEADY UNDER PRESSURE – MESSAGE TO THE FORCE

STEADY UNDER PRESSURE

27 July 2026

The spiritual battlefield you and I engage is the most raw of any territory or condition known to man.  On this battlefield, God’s warfighters come into the most intense testing on literally a continual basis.  There’s no relief from it.  Each moment is trying!  Each second challenges your resolve.  With all that comes with spiritual warfare, the natural reaction of the carnal man is to remove themselves.

God’s warfighters do not have the luxury of ease and comfort.  We are trained to endure the most extreme and intense of conditions and environments.  The reason is because the armies of Hell create that environment.  In order for God’s soldiers to fight in this warfare environment, you must acclimate to that environment.  Not only must you acclimate, you must be able to thrive in it.

“Steady Under Pressure” is a phrase that is used widely in the military.  It speaks of a controlled attitude in an uncontrollable environment.  Because the wars and battles create the most extreme atmospheres, soldiers must learn to operate in these conditions.

Paul instructed Timothy that he must endure hardness as a good soldier.  Timothy would be forcefully placed into very raw spiritual environments and would be called upon to minister within them.  As a soldier, you will be commanded to enter  uncomfortable places and asked to maintain a genuine love for people when they won’t love you back.  You’ll be called upon to enter conditions of fear and be required to maintain an attitude of faith and courage.  In all conditions in this spiritual warfare, you will be commanded to remain “Steady Under Pressure.”

The bible also speaks of a certain fruit that God will develop in all those who walk in the spirit; namely “Temperance.”  Paul said that if you are pressing, striving, working toward the level of mastery in your Christian life, then temperance must be the pronounced code of character in your life.

Temperance must also be the characteristic in the life of God’s soldier.  Temperance is defined as self-control.  This is the ability to remain steady under the most extreme pressure in warfare.

Your ammunition for today:

To be steady, you must resist the knee-jerk reaction to act on impulse.  When you do react under pressure, Satan usually knows the way in which you will react.  It’s what he’s banking on.  He’s looking for you to react when pressed by your circumstance.  He is hoping you will react negatively under the pressure of the adversity.

Calculated moves.  Determined reactions.  Controlled responses to ever changing conditions.

Courage is the ability to stay steady under the pressure of fear.  Patience is the ability to stay steady under the pressure of uncertainty.

No matter the condition, your orders are the same.  Regardless of the desire of the flesh, your orders did not change.  In spite of everything pulling you, applying pressure on you to the contrary, your charge remains the same.
