If there ever was a time to be God’s Soldiers, or for a generation to need God’s Soldiers, it is now. If there ever was a time to seek what God expects of us as soldiers, it is now. It has probably been said so much that we’ve become desensitized to it, but souls are dropping into Hell at a more rapid rate in this generation, I believe, than at any other time in history. The time for us to not only be the standard, but raise the standard for what it means to be a soldier is now.
It’s time to be the example and live the example of God’s soldiers. When the world or the church searches for the example of what God’s soldier should look like, act like and operate like, they should look no further than you and I. We should be highly trained, prepared unto every good work and capable of all the bible teaches. We should live to be the example in character, in attitude, in mental fortitude, in fruit, in spiritual violence, in spiritual military excellence, in evidence of the Holy Spirit working in us.
The bible reveals that God’s soldiers are the most powerful soldier on the earth. The Bible speaks of a church in the world that the gates of Hell will not prevail against. The world expects more from us because we tell them they should. We tell them that Jesus is alive and that He lives inside of us. They then should expect a demonstration of that reality in our lives.
When they don’t see that reality, then it is the church who becomes the reason the world doesn’t believe. If we tell them we are sent from God, then there should be overwhelming evidence of the Holy Spirit working within us. We tell them that Jesus delivers and sets people free from sin, bondages of every stripe, and addictions of ever type. The church should expect to deliver to the world that promise Jesus made. We tell them that God’s Soldiers are the most powerful soldiers on the earth. We preach a living power residing inside of us that gives us the victory through everything we face in life.
This entire creation groans. It may not understand exactly what answer God will send to help them, but they are groaning.
Romans 8:18-19 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
The Children of Israel groaned by reason of their bondage. Exodus 2:23-24. God heard the groaning of his creation and sent Moses. Exodus 3:7-10. Just like a groaning world is in pain to be delivered from that bondage, they look for deliverance; a deliverer. Someone who will come and give them those lifechanging truths and to show forth a reality of that lifechanging truth.
How often does the world look at us and wonder if we have what we say we have? If so, why aren’t we offering that same victory to them? Is the world really a more appealing life than living for Jesus? It’s impossible! Will you rise to the call and the groan of a lost and dying, broken and suffering generation?
Romans 13:29 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness and let us put on the armour of light.

SEEK THE KINGDOM OF GOD FIRST
There’s no other reason for us to exist. There’s no reason why we cannot be what God purposed for us to be. Paul preached the standard and lived that standard. Many men and women through the years have done the same. To rise up to the challenge and be God’s soldier is the most rewarding call in this world.
